JAKARTA – Diesel One Solidarity Community berpartisipasi dalam memeriahkan 24 hours yang mengangkat tema Human & Waste: “Finding The Solution” yang diselenggarakan pada tanggal (5/10), di tempat pembuangan sampah RT 03/ RW 04, Kebon Kelapa.
Climate Reality Leader, Nukila Evanty mengatakan bisnis tekstil menurut penelitian UN Conference of trade and development (UNCTD 2019) menyumbangkan limbah terbesar.
“Perlu adanya kebijakan perusahaan ekonomi, sosial, dan lingkungan secara berkesinambungan bukan bisnis as usual. Sehingga perusahaan teksil/garmen perlu memperhatikan kelayakan IPAL (Instalasi Pengolahan Air Limbah),” kata Nukila pada siaran pers, di Jakarta, Rabu (5/10).

Sementara itu, Managing Director Program Diesel One Solidarity Ayuningtyas Widari Ramdhaniar, mengatakan pengelolaan sampah bisa disebut sebagai pintu masuk untuk mencapai target pembangunan berkelanjutan, karena terdapat isu multisector yang berdampak dalam berbagai aspek masyarakat dan ekonomi.
“Seperti, pengelolaan sampah terkait dengan isu kesehatan (SDGs 3), perubahan iklim (SDGs 13), pengurangan kemiskinan (SDGs 1), sumber air bersih yang tersedia (SDGs 6), ekosistem laut (SDGs 14), ekosistem darat (SDGs 15), peningkatan ekonomi masyarakat (SDGs 8), serata produksi dan konsumsi yang berkelanjutan (SDGs 12),” tutur Tyas.
IT Officer PT Pama Persada member Of Astra, Kusuma Budi, mengaku para warga yang hadir di lokasi TPS, antusias dalam tanya jawab, salah satunya ada warga yang bertanya mengenai Seberapa besar peranan teknologi informasi dalam pemanfaatan energi yang digunakan semua orang, baik masyarakat maupun konvensial?.
“Setiap perusahaan jika memiliki Carbon Footprint pada Perusahaan maka kita dapat mendeteksi seberapa besar penggunaan emisi karbon pada perusahaan tersebut,” kata pria kerap disapa Koesbud.
Menurut Koesbud, pihaknya bisa membantu mengurangi Gas Rumah Kaca (GRK) sebesar 30 persen.
“Jika kita bisa mengukur seluruh konsumsi dan produksi perusahaan dan masyarakat. Harapannya, target GRK pada tahun 2030,” ujar Koesbud.
Kegiatan tersebut diadakan untuk kegiatan Climate Reality Global dengan 24 Hours of Reality, dimana banyak kisah inspiratif tentang solusi iklim, yang didorong oleh para aktifis diseluruh dunia dan mempelajari kita dapat mempelajari di komunitas kita sendiri.
