Harga Beras Eceran Naik 16 Persen pada Januari 2024

Badan Pusat Statistik (BPS) mencatat harga beras eceran naik 0,63 persen secara month to month (mtm) atau 16,24 persen secara year on year (yoy) pada Januari 2024.
Plt Kepala BPS Amalia Adininggar Widyasanti mengatakan kenaikan harga beras tidak hanya terjadi di tingkat eceran, melainkan juga di level grosir dan penggilingan.

“Harga beras grosir pada Januari 2024 naik sebesar 0,97 persen secara mtm dan 16,66 secara yoy,” ujarnya dalam konferensi pers, Kamis (1/2).

Sementara itu, kenaikan harga beras tertinggi terjadi di tingkat penggilingan mencapai 1,62 persen secara bulanan dan meroket 21,78 persen secara tahunan.

Harga gabah di tingkat petani juga meningkat pada Januari 2024. Harga gabah kering panen (GKP) naik 2,97 persen secara bulanan dan naik 18,64 persen secara tahunan.

Harga gabah kering giling (GKG) juga naik 4,85 persen secara bulanan dan naik 24,52 persen secara tahunan.

Amalia mengatakan harga beras masih tinggi meski saat ini pemerintah menggelontorkan bantuan sosial (bansos) pangan karena suplai yang lebih rendah dibanding permintaan. Hal itu disebabkan karena sejumlah negara menutup keran ekspor beras.

“Sementara di dalam negeri panen beras relatif rendah karena El Nino yang berkepanjangan. Untuk Januari-Februari, BPS memperkirakan produksi beras masih lebih rendah dari konsumsi atau terjadi defisit,” katanya.
