Ekonomi Bank Mandiri mewanti-wanti investasi asing akan turun menjelang Pemilu 2024.
Chief Economist Mandiri Andry Asmoro mengatakan tren penurunan investasi asing juga terjadi di tahun-tahun politik sebelumnya.
“Selama ini kita lihat di tahun-tahun politik investasi mengalami penurunan. Namun kalau kita breakdown lebih detail, investasi yang turun adalah investasi asing,” katanya dalam media briefing Economic Outlook 2023, Selasa (19/12).
“Ini yang kemudian bagaimana upaya pemerintah bisa menjaga cycle ini tidak berulang atau paling tidak turun tidak terlalu dalam, sehingga kita bisa tumbuh relatif stabil di 2024,” katanya.
Namun, ia memperkirakan pemilu berdampak positif terhadap sisi konsumsi. Asmo mengatakan konsumsi relatif stabil di kisaran 4,5 persen sampai 5 persen saat pemilu-pemilu sebelumnya.
“Ini tentu saja peluang di tahun 2024, di tengah tantangan global,” katanya.
Sementara itu, ekonomi Indonesia diperkirakan tumbuh 5,06 persen di 2024.
Hal itu sejalan dengan proyeksi Dana Moneter Internasional (IMF) bahwa ekonomi Indonesia masih akan tumbuh di kisaran 5 persen pada tahun ini dan tahun depan.
“Konsumsi dan aktivitas masyarakat domestik diperkirakan akan tetap solid, sehingga dapat mendorong pertumbuhan ekonomi Indonesia hingga tahun 2024,” katanya.
Sementara itu, tingkat inflasi tahun depan diperkirakan berkisar di 3,19 persen.
“Pengelolaan pasokan yang baik turut menopang laju penurunan inflasi, terutama dari sisi harga pangan,” kata Asmo.
