Survei Bank Indonesia (BI) mencatat indeks keyakinan konsumen (IKK) Indonesia terhadap ekonomi Tanah Air turun ke 123,1 dibandingkan bulan sebelumnya, yakni 125.
Asisten Gubernur BI, Erwin Haryono menyebut survei pada Februari 2024 mengindikasikan keyakinan konsumen terhadap kondisi ekonomi tetap kuat.
“Hal ini tercermin dari Indeks Keyakinan Konsumen (IKK) Februari 2024 yang berada dalam zona optimis (di atas 100) pada level 123,1,” ujarnya dalam keterangan resmi, Kamis (14/3).
Pada Februari 2024, survei BI menunjukkan keyakinan konsumen terpantau tetap optimis pada seluruh kategori pengeluaran. Peningkatan optimisme tercatat pada responden dengan pengeluaran Rp1 juta hingga Rp2 juta.
“Berdasarkan usia, keyakinan konsumen pada Februari 2024 juga terpantau optimis utamanya pada kelompok usia 20-40 tahun,” kata Erwin.
Secara spasial, IKK meningkat di sebagian Survei Konsumen (SK) besar kota yang disurvei, terbesar di Kota Palembang (5,0 poin), diikuti Denpasar (3,1 poin) dan Bandung (2,7 poin).
“Sementara itu, sebagian kota lainnya mencatat penurunan IKK, terutama di Kota Banjarmasin (12,7 poin), diikuti Surabaya (12,6 poin) dan Medan (11,2 poin),” imbuhnya.
Pada Februari 2024, persepsi konsumen terhadap kondisi ekonomi saat ini juga tetap kuat. Hal itu terlihat dari Indeks Kondisi Ekonomi (IKE) Februari 2024 yang berada pada area optimis sebesar 110,9.
“Tetap terjaganya IKE Februari 2024 terutama didorong optimisme pada semua komponen pembentuknya, tertinggi pada Indeks Penghasilan Saat Ini yang tercatat sebesar 112,1,” ungkapnya.
Sementara itu, Indeks Pembelian Barang Tahan Lama (Durable Goods) dan Indeks Ketersediaan Lapangan Kerja juga tetap terjaga pada area optimis, masing-masing sebesar 110,6 dan 110,1.
Secara spasial, sebagian besar kota mencatat peningkatan IKE, terbesar di Kota Pontianak (5,0 poin), diikuti Pangkal Pinang (4,0 poin) dan Samarinda (2,5 poin).
“Sementara itu, sebagian kota lainnya mencatat penurunan IKE, terutama di Kota Surabaya (20,5 poin), diikuti Medan (18,9 poin) dan Banjarmasin (15,6 poin),” pungkasnya.
Survei konsumen merupakan survei bulanan BI untuk mengetahui keyakinan konsumen mengenai kondisi ekonomi yang tercermin dari persepsi konsumen terhadap kondisi ekonomi saat ini dan ekspektasi konsumen terhadap kondisi perekonomian ke depan.
