PT Bumi Resources Tbk (BUMI) milik Group Bakrie membukukan laba bersih sebesar US$10,9 juta atau Rp173,33 miliar (kurs Rp15.901 per dolar AS) pada 2023. Angka itu anjlok 97,9 persen dibanding laba tahun sebelumnya yang sebesar US$525,27 juta.
Mengutip laporan keuangan perusahaan di Bursa Efek Indonesia (BEI), Senin (1/4), penurunan laba terjadi seiring pendapatan bruto yang turun 22,9 persen ke US$6,54 miliar dari US$ 8,53 miliar pada tahun sebelumnya.
Penurunan terjadi karena kondisi pasar dan harga batu bara yang turun 33 persen (yoy). Harga rata-rata batu bara turun menjadi US$81,3 per ton dari US$121 per ton pada 2022. Tak hanya itu, tingginya harga bahan bakar juga turun menekan kinerja BUMI.
Perusahaan mencatat EBITDA turun tajam menjadi US$302,5 juta pada 2023 dari US$1.238,6 juta pada 2022 karena royalti, pajak, DMO, strip rasio dan biaya bahan bakar yang tinggi.
“Sekitar 40 persen pendapatan dibayarkan untuk royalti, pajak dan subsidi yang secara signifikan mempengaruhi likuiditas dan marjin,” bunyi laporan keuangan perusahaan.
Di lain sisi, BUMI telah melakukan efisiensi biaya di mana beban usaha turun 30,8 persen menjadi US$234 juta pada 2023 menjadi US$338,3 juta pada 2022.
“BUMI berhasil melakukan kemajuan pada proyek hilirisasi dengan menggandeng mitra dari luar negeri dan dalam tahap diskusi dengan pemerintah untuk mencapai kesepakatan dalam proyek ini dan proyek non-batu bara lainnya,” bunyi laporan keuangan BUMI.
